Yes, all our British farms are part of the PepsiCo Sustainable Farming Program. We’ve developed over 100 principles (114 to be precise) - which define Walkers’ environmental, social and economic responsibilities, meaning the potatoes we use to make our delicious crisps are sustainably grown! Yes. In 2018 we launched the UK’s first nationwide Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme. We’ve partnered with TerraCycle to make it easier to recycle our crisp packets and reduce the impact we have on the environment. You can drop off your crisp packets at one of hundreds public collection points around the UK. Once collected, they’re cleaned, shredded and turned into small plastic pellets, used to make useful plastic items such as park benches, fence posts and flooring. The law prohibits us from using recycled plastic for food packaging. What’s great about our new Crisp Packet Recycling Scheme is that we’re making new items that have a long life, including fence posts and flooring.

Most of our ingredients are sourced from the UK and Europe. For certain ingredients such as spices, we source from further afield.
